ACT INTERNATIONAL 2022
An annual Voice and Performance Residential Workshop in Italy Every year Anna-Helena screens applications from all around the world to enrol a team of up to 24 candidates to take part in a unique acting and voice training and experience. Each year takes a slightly different format and works to different texts and themes to reflect the directors most recent research. In 2022 the course was divided into three strands, a Drop in, a Regular and an Intensive. The course culminated in making a short film for public screening in London after the end of the course as well as devising an hour long presentation of work in progress for an audience. The presentations explored two key texts combining poetic material from Ancient Mesopotamia as well as extracts from Virginia Woolf's novel, Orlando. More details at [email protected] |

ACT Intensive Workshop Residency
Tepantar Theatre Village, near Santiniketan Calcutta, India 2015 25 participants from all over India came together to live as a community for 7 days at the beautifully located Tepantar Theatre Village in Santiniketan. The course covered ACT voice and performance techniques for self expression, drawing on original repertoire sourced through extensive practical research on Shakespeare's, Romeo and Juliet.
